Walther Trowal TT45 Centrifugal Disc Finishing Unit
January 20th 2020 the Additive Manufacturing Department at Progressive Technology purchased a Walther Trowal TT45 system to further expand the finishing capabilities offered to customers. This is located in the newly refurbished post-processing facility, located within the recently acquired 10,000 square foot facility at the Hambridge Lane site.
The introduction of the Walther Trowal TT45 equipment at Progressive Technology is part of the initial steps toward automated surface finishing, providing repeatability and reproducibility on low volume production DMLS components.
The TT45 system will be used for both DMLS and conventional CNC Machined components and is applicable to all materials currently processed at Progressive Technology.
This equipment further supports the 24/7, 365 days a year service that Progressive Technology offers its customers, increasing our capacity and resources available to customers.
