Progressive Technology are pleased to announce the arrival of a Renishaw RenAM 500Q Flex System into its fleet of additive manufacturing systems, complementing the 5 x EOS and 1 x Renishaw AM machines already on site. Predominantly supplying components to the motorsport, automotive and aerospace sectors Progressive Technology excel in supplying complex additive manufactured components with additional machining in compressed lead times.

The 500W quad laser RenAM 500Q system has a build envelope of 250 x 250 x 350mm and provides excellent manufacturing efficiency, whilst maintaining an industry leading purity processing environment for manufacture, resulting in excellent mechanical performance and overall component finish. The uniform extraction of process emissions, exceptionally low oxygen and moisture content, and consistent optical control, eliminates sources of chemical, micro-structure or mechanical defects.

Initially the RenAM 500Q will be manufacturing nickel superalloys components to supply our motorsport clients with end-to-end print and CNC machined exhaust primaries, collectors and secondary type parts.
